NAQIA launches Corporate Plan

The National Agricultural Quarantine and Inspection Authority (NAQIA) has just launched a five year corporate plan to protect the biodiversity of PNG and its trading partners, Post Courier reports.

“The priorities include the development and implementation of a bio-security legislation, stronger emphasis on the development of risk management, pest response, trade facilitation, information and communication technology, international collaboration, industry and inter-agency collaboration, infrastructure facilities and equipment, human resource and finance management”.
