The PNG National Forests Authority (NFA) yesterday boasted as it has successfully planted a total of 1.3 million trees this year as of June, according to a recorded data.
Managing Director Kanawi Pouru made this known during activities organised to mark the International Year of Forests celebrated yesterday. Mr Pouru said the NFA targets to plant a total of three million threes this year. After six months, they have recorded as of June, a total of 1,314,182 trees tallied as planted.
